It's been a week since my last art post :D so it's time to write another one, since I have so many photos lined up, waiting to be posted.

Last week was crazy, I mean starting from the days before Christmas and till now and tomorrow it's the last day of the year. Anyway, let's see what I have prepared for you today.
The name of the exhibition was Contactus 2025 and hosted the works of Romanian artists. My preferred visiting day and time is during the week and before noon as that's the time when there's no one in the exhibition rooms, or maybe one or two crazy people like me and it gives me the opportunity to take photos without being disturbed.
This time I broke my habits and went to visit this exhibition on Saturday and upon arrival I was told I have 11 minutes. Shock is what I felt as 11 minutes is enough to do nothing, let alone visit 3 rooms, plus the 2nd floor, so what I did was take photos of everything (well, almost) and this is how I was able to finish before noon, which was the closing hour. So I could say I'm visiting the exhibition again, while processing the photos as I had very little time to inspect the works at the scene. Of course, I could go back and visit it again as it's open till the 14th of January and maybe I will, but till then, let's see what we got today.
Andrea Cabus - Prayers 2
This was not an unknown painting as I've seen it before and I know a few of you have liked it too. It reminds me of the photos you see of the highest peaks, where climbers hang out their flags. It's a very nice one. I like the light on the top of the hill, how it is interacting with the snow.

Carmen Carausu - Tell me who you are (left) - I tell you who I am (right)
Two abstract portraits. There are not just brush strokes here and colors, but writing as well, which, unfortunately remains a mystery for me as it is illegible. I think I'll let you interpret this.

Botond Kuti - (title illegible, my fault)
I see a big chaos here, colorful too, that reminds me of some roots, or ropes.

Raluca Aura Munteanu - The dichotomy of flight (left) - The dichotomy of flight (right)
dichotomy - a difference between two completely opposite ideas or things
Most likely it's a bit confusing what you see here, I myself have never seen such a work, but if you look closely, you see a bird in both paintings, but in a different position.

Emőke Fábián - Sunshine
It reminds me of the sunsets I've witnessed over the years in the mountains. The bottom of the painting is a bit confusing for me, I don't understand what those white lines are, but it's not necessary to understand everything, I think.
Karmen Golumbeanu - Interior
This was a really interesting work. The 3D effect is amazing and it wasn't just that.
That handle was not just optical illusion or a line painted to be part of the 3D effect, it was a real piece of iron. I love the texture of the wall and the wooden door. The execution here is fantastic in my opinion.

Imola Szilágyi - Order In Chaos
Now you may be wondering what kind of crap that is and how can be order in chaos, but trust me, that's how some people live and operate. Not me as I don't like chaos and my order is not related to chaos, but others can do it.
I'm really curious to know what you see here. To me, it seems like a volcano, but who knows.

Dénes Kúti - Meadow
This was mind blowing, for one reason. It wasn't my favorite as it was too bright but look at the details.

At first glance it may seem like a photo printed on canvas, but it's not. It is hand painted on canvas. You can see the brushstrokes on the photos above. Now, imagine how much patience you need to paint every detail you see on this painting.
I left the most important detail to the end. Look at the size of the paintings. These are not for a small apartment, for sure.
This is it for today, let me know which one is your favorite, if yoiu have one at all :)

I couldn't have those paintings because of the size but the artworks are great!!!! You don't know how many times it has happened to me that I have little time left to see a show.... I do the same thing I take pictures quickly!!!!
Today I have two favourites
This work is enogmatic I was attracted to it as soon as I saw it and when I enlarged it and saw the writing I was more fascinated even though I don't know what it says.
This other one, shocking, both for the texture of the wall, for the iron, but especially for that dark door... it gives a lot to think about!!!!
The fact that you managed to take most of the pictures in such a short time in a three-room, two-story building shows how valuable this writing is. Regarding Carmen Carasu's painting, I see two similar characters closing their eyes, focusing on the same area solely through thought. It's as if the lights on the signal lines connecting the two heads light up when they influence each other, signifying an agreement and a shared decision.
