RE: Astrophotography; A First Attempt

in Photography Lovers4 years ago

This was great, Victor! I loved that tiny little cabin in the woods! It is just perfect for a small group to getaway. A/C Shower, Kitchen... check check check! All the basic necessities that you need in life.

I love campouts and fun weekends like this. The starry, starry night was amazing and the pictures were awesome. Seriously. I know about wanted bigger and better once you see that sky or eclipse!

Le sigh.

The smores are a given, I didn't even have to guess about that. :) This was a wonderful time to spend with your boys. They might not have been too impressed at being unplugged, but, years from now, they will still be talking about it.

My house out on the Shore has no internet, cable, or phone. The service doesn't pick up my cell, but, I got a Tracfone which actually works there and I use it thee. The point is, I run out there as often as I can to unplug. I love being here on Hive, but, I love being away from it all too. I am glad you take the time to do it.

Great post!

Thank you! I do love being away, or just, at least, Out And Doing Something (tm) - I suffer severe cabin fever when in the house on the weekends. It was definitely a good time, and I'm glad we went. I wanna go back! Maybe in the autumn.

Book now! Those places get really booked in the Autumn. Leaf peekers and all. The colors are delicious at that time of year up there.

Seems like the boys had a good time too. I bought a cheap telescope (found it in a thrift shop) and brought it with us one time. It is hours of great fun, especially in the real dark. Cabin fever is always interrupted by a trail ride with the horses. They love getting out and kicking it up, just like kids.
