My husband and I were driving from New South Wales to Western Australia, and stopped to overnight at a free-camp site next to the Murray river. I didn't have my tripod with me, so jerry-rigged the Nikon D800E on a bean bag intended for treating my neck, using the self timer to reduce camera shake and catch the pre-dawn colours. After this, we packed up and drove two more days to get home.
