So proud of our little girl

Well the day has come and my daughter is preparing for graduation and for what life has to offer her after school. These past few years have been pretty rough for our family and there were times when we didn't know if we would make it to this point.

These past few years, we have lost so many people, but our daughter is the one that felt it the most. She lost several close friends and we almost lost her to COVID when the pandemic was at its peak. Thankfully we have gotten through that and we are all closer with each other.

I can't wait to see what she does in the future. She is super bright and talented. She is already better at photography than I am and I can't wait to see her begin college and see her creativity flourish.

She had a special patch made with her two closest friends that she lost so that when she walks for graduation, they will have a chance to be with her in spirit as well.

She is the most caring and thoughtful person I have ever met and she is teaching us new things each day. It is so cool to be at a point in our lives where we are learning from our children. They have both grown into amazing adults and my wife and I are so proud of who they have become.

The past six months or so have been extremely hard for us, but all we can do is to take it one day at a time. We have strived to be present and not worry about the past or the future. Tragedies happen and the thing to remember is that the sun will always set and rise signifying a new day. Don't take any day you have here on earth for granted. Live life to its fullest.

Life is a precious gift. Hug your loved ones and hold them tight.
