This morning, my son texted me to let me know that his dream car was in the shop. I had already planned on meeting up with him for lunch, so I was pretty excited to see what he was working on today.
When I got there, he showed me the Ford GT that was there. This is an extremely rare vehicle, and this one that my son was working on had a price tag of only $650,000. I have personally never seen one of them up close, so it was cool to see it and see my son in action making it look its best. Only a couple thousand of these are made every few years and they start at half a million dollars and go up from there.
The Ford GT was just there for a detail on the inside and a quick polish, so it won't be in the shop too long. My son finished up the polish while I was there and some of the others in the shop were working on the interior. Once he was done with it, he had to get back to working on the Bentley that was parked next to it. The Bentley is a steal at only $400,000 compared to the Ford GT.
Bentleys are cars that I had never seen in person and I never understood the reason why they cost so much, but after seeing a bunch of them and learning that they are pretty much custom built for the person buying them, I can see why they cost so much. These cars are pure luxury. The interior on them is some of the coolest I have ever seen. You can even get custom star light patterns in the ceiling with shooting stars. Some Bentleys even come with umbrella holders in the doors so that you won't get wet in the rain when you step out the car. They may seem over the top with what they offer, but I think they are pretty awesome. Maybe when my wife and I are older and have made it big in crypto, we will roll around town in a new Bentley.
Yesterday, his shop got a 1986 Nissan 300Z that they were doing a paint correction and a paint protection film on. The owner is the original owner and is getting it ready to sell. It only has 89,000 miles on it and the vehicle is in perfect condition. It is also a one of a kind because no other model of this was made with the paint and interior color combination. I almost bought a 300Z when I first moved here, but decided against it. The older 300Z with the twin turbo is one of my dream cars, and when my son showed me this one at his shop, I was pretty tempted to get it, but they are asking $21k for it and it isnt even the twin turbo model, so it is a bit overpriced in my eyes. But since it is in perfect condition and has extremely low miles for its age, I am sure it will sell fast.
It was so cool to see my son in action working on his dream car today. I am really glad that he is doing what he loves.

Dude the photos are amazing and the cars are just wow. The fact that your son worked for the car of his dreams is also very special. I am sure he will get that car one day if everything goes well. And you can buy the car you want after you crack the cryptocurrency.

Ya, it was more of a joke about how expensive these cars are. Bentleys do lose so much value. One of the ones my son worked on a few weeks ago was bought used for about $120k, which is hundred of thousands of dollars less than the original price. I don't think I could ever spend that much on a car. Unless I have so much money I don't care what I spend it on.
So cool he could work on that… awesome. I can imagine how happy he must be.

I also want to own any sports car in the future, though it cost thousands of dollars in a matter of time and enough savings then those dream cars can be afforded. I prefer those sports with such rare design, it's more attractable and pleasing in eyes of audience who sees it.

Being a parent it is a pride moment when our kids reach their goals what they were passionate about, I see same feeling in you, a proud father. A joyous feeling exactly, your son looks very much involved in his dream job.
