Hi everyone,
As I discovered a lot of cool locations in Vendée, I try to visit a couple of them at night during this summer.
It's a bit tricky because the sunset is very late and I can't start doing lightpainting before 10pm. My sessions end often after 1am and I have to drive my way home (usually or an hour or more). To avoid risking my life on the road, I'll sell my car and I'll buy a mini-van asap.
For this session, I met a local model I met a couple of times before. She lives close to the spot so that's very convenient for her. A short heatwave was stricking France during that time and temperature never went under 30°C. After doing a couple of pictures, I had to take off my t-shirt because it was completely soaked!
I'll post the portraits of Laura I made during that session in the upcoming weeks but now it's time to show you a picture with my classic abstract light-calligraphic style.

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
