Hello friends, I hope everyone is well. As I mentioned in my introduction to this amazing blog, I started working with my cell phone, an Iphone 7 and static lights made by myself from recycled cardboard and cable, so I wanted to post one of the first sessions I did with this team. cheap and accessible. It was one of the first sessions I did on a professional basis, so I was a bit nervous.
For this session I wanted to play with colored lights, for that I used colored paper and interposing them between the cardboard lamps they radiated a beautiful pink and light blue tone, my female model was my friend the model Yasmin Viera, she had physical characteristics of hair afro and brown skin, so I wanted to add these colors and thus highlight their features.
I incorporated a spring-loaded bed into the photo props and a big pink ball, thus creating a somewhat punk concept, I was a bit nervous in this session since at that time it was the first time I had played photographically with colored lights and the The equipment I worked with was nothing more than my cell phone, although I had already done previous tests and the result was magnificent, of course all my work was retouched with Adobe Photoshop 2015.
Once Yasmin started the session, she felt totally comfortable, I talked to her about how she should imagine the result and she really looked very beautiful, with a lot of attitude. The session took approximately two hours between makeup and photography. I was super excited since I was just starting out as a photographer and it was a project that many people would see, it was very important for me to gain the trust and approval of people and future clients.
Yasmin, like a model, posed correctly, she knew how to take advantage of all the elements we used, we loved the combination of pink with light blue, which together with the selected clothes gave a very colorful result.
In these photos we included the bed with a spring base that combined with the sweater gave an illusion of being on a street with an urban style, in the end the result was fantastic, we were all very comfortable and happy with the process, Yasmin was delighted, of course the best came later as all my clients requested sessions with this set of lights.

These are some interesting shots. Well done. I would say make your watermark or logo a bit more transparent so it doesn't distract from the composition of the photograph itself. Thanks for sharing.
Hello, thank you very much for the recommendation. Yes, at first I put a watermark on the photos, as I progressed I removed it since I realized that it takes away the beauty of the photo.
I am not personally against watermarks or logos. I just feel like they can and often do take away from the value of the photo for the eyes. You were smart and had yours in the bottom left corner which is best... but i would say if you need to keep them... my professional opinion would be to have them 70 or 80 % transparent.
Either way... these were some fabulous shots and you are getting a great start here on Hive and in the Photography Lovers Community. So, please don't take my constructive criticism as anything other than an opportunity to improve.
