Hello friends! I am super excited to share with you this new photo session I did last October in commemoration of the fight against breast cancer day. While I was planning their production, I wanted to combine several points, first the delicate nature of women, vulnerability, beauty, and how defenseless any woman can feel when suffering from this terrible disease that unfortunately attacks many around the world. , that's why I was also looking for a model that reflected all this, so I found the right one, my friend and model Astrid Francés.
La utileria de esta sesión de fotos, combinando todo los puntos que ya mencione fueron petalos de rosas en color rosado ya que es el color utilizado para conmemorar esta lucha, para ello cubrí a la modelo de petalos en todo su cuerpo, así que se necesitó de bastante tiempo para adherir cada uno y que quedaran firmes, acompañado de un maquillaje suave y sútil, Astrid la modelo que ya habiamos trabajado en ocasiones anteriores estaba cómoda y emocionada de hacer unas fotos que significarian mucho en esta lucha para muchas mujeres.
The props of this photo session, combining all the points that I already mentioned, were rose petals in pink since it is the color used to commemorate this fight, for this I covered the model with petals all over her body, so it was needed Given enough time to adhere each one and make them firm, accompanied by a soft and subtle makeup, Astrid, the model that we had already worked with on previous occasions, was comfortable and excited to take some photos that would mean a lot in this fight for many women.
Para las fotos utilicé una tela del mismo color pero en satín, el desafío para la modelo y mi caso como fotografo era representar la vulnerabilidad de la mujer pero tambien la fuerza y valentia , no sólo posar y ser bonita, esto iba más allá de eso. Al momento de la sesión tuvimos un percance, en Venezuela son comunes los cortes electricos y justo en medio de la sesión cortaron la electricidad, así que por lo tanto tuvimos que movilizarnos a otro lugar para apoyarnos de luz solar más las luces inalambricas que utilizo, el mayor inconveniente aparte de la electricidad fue el calor que allí hacía y tratar de mantener el pegamento y maquillaje intacto.
For the photos I used a fabric of the same color but in satin, the challenge for the model and my case as a photographer was to represent the vulnerability of the woman but also the strength and courage, not only to pose and be pretty, this went beyond that . At the time of the session we had a mishap, in Venezuela power cuts are common and right in the middle of the session they cut the electricity, so therefore we had to move to another place to support ourselves with sunlight plus the wireless lights that I use, the biggest inconvenience aside from the electricity was how hot it was and trying to keep glue and makeup intact.
El resultado fue maravilloso, a pesar todos los contra tiempos todo salió muy bien, quedé sastifecho con las fotos y todo el equipo también, como notan la modelo mientras tomaba las fotos utilizaba ropa intima, para que ella se sintiera completamente cómoda pero en edición pude eliminarla.
The result was wonderful, despite all the setbacks everything went very well, I was satisfied with the photos and the whole team as well, as you can see the model while taking the photos wore underwear, so that she felt completely comfortable but in editing I was able to remove it.
