Hey we had another colourful sunset tonight! We tend to get a good one every couple of weeks or so. Currently I am resting up since my last excursion out to the mountains. We hit Radium, the hot springs, Olive lake, Cobb Lake, Sunshine meadows in Banff, and Nipika mountain resort area. Plenty of pictures coming in the near future, stay tuned! Despite my "very strong addiction to black and white" I have to accept that today color won the game!!!...
I loved this photo in particular for the dramatic and vehement vanishing point created by the posts and wires on the left, as well as the exquisite visual counterweight created by the backlit tree on the right... And obviously those magical colored clouds!... Applause!...

WOW! I've seen some memorable sunsets in my day, yet every time I try to capture the full essence of what I am seeing, the photos fall short from the real life experience. But these photos are stunning which leads me to believe the real life experience was far grander.

Wow, that's some stunning photography. You captured the colors very well. The colors blue, purple and orange only seem to work in a sunset, but they clash

We haven't been haven't any colorful sunset or dawn in this part of the world, I think it's just because of the rain. However, these are very beautiful shots.

That third one is almost surreal. Like looking at a Jupiter with brighter colors. Beautiful shots, you found a great sunset there. B&W's are great, but not with sunsets!
