Here we are on the second Friday of the year, time doesn’t stand still! January is typically the coldest month of the year for us Canadians, and so far it’s been cold (surprise surprise). Someday I’m gonna move to Vancouver island or somewhere by the southern British Columbia border, this is where our warmest parts are. The hiking has pretty much come to a halt unfortunately, so all I can do is plan for the Spring, Summer and Fall. I do have some ideas swirling around in my head as to what we will do then. Any Big plans for the weekend (other than working like me)? Thanks for stopping by.

The only time I was in Canada ( back in the 1980's ) I found myself in the coldest temps I had even experienced. It was minus 24 and my nose formed ice crystals as I breathed in. It was a wonderful time. SKidoo-ing through countryside deep in snow.
I did find myself suffering a lot of electric shocks through static build up I guess but over all I had an amazing time. That was for three weeks though... months of enduring the cold and snow must be something else entirely. So I hope spring comes soon for you.
Static shocks are a thing around here especially in the deep of winter, just get used to it. Countdown to spring has begun! Thanks for stopping by.
Winter is indeed the perfect time to plan something. I hope the cold of January passes quickly. I can't wait to see your beautiful pictures in other seasons, autumn is the most anticipated.
Yes, once the temperature warms up I can get back to some great outdoor activities. Have a good weekend.
It's being colder than usual here, it even snowed after 6-7 years from last time, I can't even image how can it be at your place!
6-7 eh?
Well we get used to this kind of weather. If I really couldn't stand it, I'd have moved already.
Even though it's colder now over here than previous years, I somehow find it bearable more now and just adopt the attitude that it will pass. Second image looks incredible with that artwork of some type of bird :)
I'll trade you a little of your weather for our weather..
