Last Summer we spent one week on Vancouver Island, Canada. Each and every day we did something special. Here on day four (the first half of the day), we found ourselves out at Nymph Falls nature park. First we walked to the falls, then out on the trails beside the river. What a splendid hike it was, and only a few others to share the trail with (I love it when there are fewer hikers out). The forest was jam packed with all sorts of photo ops! Here are a few of the images I captured. Thanks for stopping by.

I love the way the light makes the leaves in that first photograph glow.
Lovely.

Captured it at just the right moment! Thanks for looking.
A little too early or late and the effect wouldn't have been the same.

That's right.
That seems a place with everything you might want included! Only miss a lake I guess 😄
A small lake would have been a cherry on top!
A beautiful journey for you in beautiful pictures and beautiful nature.
The leaf of the tree looks bigger to me than normal 🤣
Large trees make for large leaves! Thanks for looking.
The first picture is very beautiful and unique , it’s the first time I’ve seen something like this on wood. And the picture with the leaf is truly outclass.
Appreciate that. It was a unique find.
