Cars ‘N Chrome

IMG_20230820_145205_Original.jpeg

What came first, the Chrome or the Car? A few more photographs from the local outdoor car show, held last week here on the Canadian prairies. From Corvettes to Ford Mustangs, to Dodge Challengers. As you may know I am a big Corvette fan. In fact I have owned a few in the past. Looking forward to owning another in the near future. In the meantime, I will just dream a little bit. It really was a fantastic car show, with a heavy turnout of car fans of every age! Looking forward to the next show.

Very nice, the chrome just looks so fire and yeah Corvette's are bad azz. Question though do you like the new body style? I do but here many Corvette guys say no they don't like that look.

Honestly, I prefer the C7 or C6 style to the new C8. Looks too much like a Ferrari

in several cases, they were the real deal in terms of engine and body' compared to some big lemons of today

Yes, I get that

I love the styling of the C3 in particular, but it's a shame they were victims of the 1970s gas changes without modern engineering. I'd like to get one and drop in a modern small block properly tuned. But that's a costs-money thing to do.

That would be a fun project without a doubt. They are a great ride. Nothing like it actually (I love all corvettes).
