As winter grips the UK and the rubbish drivers show themselves even more than usual, we had a visit to the big house with the hopes of a walk around the gardens in the snow.
I always love a winter landscape, especially getting the drone up, but I didn't take it on this occasion as it's the middle of the shooting season, I don't like this season and really do feel sorry for the poor animals.
Before we headed to the big house, we went to Wentworth Garden Centre for breakfast, as I'm coming up 50, I'm trying to change my ways, so one of the things is to cut down on the amount of meat I eat, so I ordered this veggie stack, it was absolutely gorgeous, halloumi cheese, mushroom, spinace tomato and egg, served with chilli jam on a bagel, it was absolutely lush.
It was great to see the deer our on the park, I think they are majestic creatures, sadly didn't have me big camera on me, so all shots were done using my iphone 14 pro, it's a great camera on the phone, definitely won't replace my Sony, but a great camera if you only have your phone on you.
The house is one of the largest in Europe and has featured on countless television programmes and films such as the following:
Downton Abbey
Victoria
Gentleman Jack
Johnathan Strange & Mr Norrell
Charles III
Billionaire Boy
The Regime
Darkest Hour
There's probably more but it's not a bad list to say the least, I went to the house on the filming of The Regime, sadly didn't see anyone there famous at the time.
The house is a beautiful bit of history and even more so now it's open to the public this hasn't been the case until recently, and at one point the house was almost lost.
I really hope you've enjoyed this little post, I do really like old houses and snow, I don't know why lol. All shots taken using my iPhone 14 pro.
Thanks for reading :-)

Kind Regards,

Very amazing scenery in winter, I love snow, even though you don't like winter, but some of the scenes that you managed to capture today really amazed my friend.
