This is the latest in my ReGeneration Series. I've had a few people mention that it has polar bear vibes!

This image was made in Death Valley National Park in October of 2021. This particular formation is one I'd never experienced before, as these tiles lay between rises in the Mesquite Dunes area near Stovepipe Wells. What this means is that these cracks are rarely touched by moisture and the edges are worn from the scouring of sand constantly in motion here in this desolate place.
The next day after a huge wind storm, I revisited this low spot which I'd marked with a GPS waypoint and sand had covered these tiles.
I love how this one resembles a large mammal. Maybe a bear. Maybe a Bison. I'll leave that up to your imagination.

Such a cool shot Dan. My first thought was ice resembling a polar bear
So appreciate that Kieran! I'm loving that people see it that way!
