Yes she did help me quit both. She never once told me "stop smoking" or "stop drinking". Instead, she just gave me so many ways to enjoy life rather than feeling the need to stay high non-stop or get drunk every weekend. I am not firmly against either one, but can say that I enjoy my life better this way. I believe that cannabis is amazing, but to me smoking just isn't the best way to take advantage of it. As for drinking alcohol, it feels like the biggest waste of time in the world to me now and obviously is terrible for your health long-term. I don't like the idea of giving up control over my own decisions, even if only slightly and alcohol has gotten me to do some pretty stupid things before. I don't LOVE the taste of beer enough to only drink one here and there, plus the beer I used to enjoy... one of them is enough to give you a decently strong buzz and it just didn't seem like something I wanted to continue doing.

My first soccer jersey I ever owned outside of my own team’s jersey was a red Thierry Henry Arsenal jersey. I loved it so much and thought he was the coolest player at the time. Hyped for the World Cup starting in November!
