Taken back in April when I heading up to Kosciuszko here in Australia (during Autumn)
Going into the hike I knew it was going to rain a bit & was expecting it to potentially snow overnight, but goodness me, not that amount that ended up coming through. It turned into blizzard-like conditions with knee-level snow.
We had bunkered down in our tents overnight & finally popped out in the morning to see what had hit. The advantage of the rain + sudden cold snap was icicles in spots where you wouldn’t usually find them so we spent a good part of the day crawling into tiny spaces to find compositions.
This image was a comp I kept going back to, over & over, waiting for the right light to cut through the fog whilst crammed into the corner of some rocks.
Enjoy!
