Hello, It's been nine days since my last post, time seems to be flying by! Today, I present to you a magnificent sunrise over the river called "La Vieille Thur" in Alsace. Alsace, this region of France that I particularly cherish, is renowned for its exquisite cuisine as well as its quality wines. Among these wines, the "Late Harvest" stands out, harvested only when the grape clusters are frostbitten. This wine, rich in sugar and with a moderate alcohol content, is especially enjoyed as an aperitif. However, due to the constraints of its production, this wine is generally expensive and is usually found in 50 cl bottles.Let's now return to the main subject of this post, namely my photographs taken with a smartphone. The more time passes, the more I realize that the images produced by these devices do not meet my expectations. It is undeniable that the promotion by phone manufacturers, touting exceptional photographic results, is more of a deception than a reality. Indeed, while the images may seem satisfactory on the phone's small screen, once enlarged, the defects and image noise become noticeable. Unable to always have my reflex camera with me, I therefore make do with my smartphone. For now, I invite you to discover three photographs taken at intervals of a few minutes, as well as a fourth taken the following day. I took care to crop my shots to correct the imbalances caused by the shadow areas. As for the upside-down shot, it was deliberately taken to explore a particular effect. The goal was to give the sky a watery appearance and the water a celestial atmosphere. The result obtained satisfies me fully. You will also notice variations in colors and brightness, resulting from the use of filters integrated into my phone, which I wanted to appreciate the effects of.
