For those of you who have been following me for awhile probably know by now that my SIL and I are pretty close. We have so much in common and share a lot of the same hobbies. We both love:
to crochet and knit
shopping
teaching our children at home
being wives
decor and design
cooking and eating lol
girl time
dancing
family events
...and the list goes on! We both are very supportive of one another and always encouraging each other’s endeavors.
However, we do get a little competitive sometimes. It’s all in good nature as we both have always been competitive, even before we knew each other. It’s rooted deep down in our veins. It’s the ingredient that makes us keep going and striving to be our best and never give up until we’ve done all we can to succeed.
My SIL has encouraged and been very supportive of my photography journey since the beginning. She’s watched me grow and develop my skills to become a more professional amateur. 😂
Photography has never really been her thang...or at least I’ve never seen a big interest. So imagine waking up to some nice photos in a text message.
I thought maybe someone had sent her these photos but to my surprise she had taken them with her iPhone 10.
She said,
Oh we decided to walk along the trail and I snapped these photos.

I told her to stop trying to take my hobbies and stick to hers! Don’t worry we talk like this to each other all the time. Remember friendly competition. 😁

In conclusion, these beautiful photos were a product of my genius haha! 😜
No, but on a serious note I am very proud of my SIL for capturing some pretty nice cell phone photography. I am also glad she is becoming more aware of her surroundings when out and about and able to spot out captivating photo opportunities.

Wow! Your SIL seems to have some undiscovered talent, these photos do kinda look edible 😋, lol! Although, I have not viewed your previous posts, seems like you adore her! I love your relationship(giggle)! I will have to checkout previous posts to see what else she is capable of! Has she considered joining the Hive and posting some of her work? I’d be interested to see what she can do!! However, I did see some of your creative work! You have some “Nice!” work.

Well captured shots of the two Viburnums in fruit! They go well alongside the shots of the bird houses as well due to the natural relationship that family of plant shares with them. Though they are mildly toxic to humans though. The red ones at the bottom are often just called Holland or leather leaf by many though I believe the name is Viburnum x rhytidophylloides. The blue ones are commonly referred to as Blue Muffin plants or Southern Arrow Wood, but again I believe the Latin name is Viburnum Dentatum. Sadly with a cool name like Blueberry Muffin one would think they were edible but sadly they aren't. They are a fast track to a sour belly for us humans. You captured them beautifully in your shots though. If any birds were inhabiting the houses the relationship they would share with the plants in your pics would be a close one. Some species rely on the berries while smaller birds (finches and the like) heavily rely on the various larvae that come from the fruit. It's a fun post so great job on it. Happily up voted. :)

I don't know what fruit is in the photographs, nor do I know if they are poisonous, but I do know that the photographs portray them so well, that it causes you to eat a handful of them.
