Sulfur Lake - a body of water on the territory of a sanatorium in the city of Sernovodsk. Water in this lake comes from sources, some of which are at the bottom of the lake, and some on the shore. Since there is a large amount of hydrogen sulfide in the water, the water in the lake does not freeze. Almost never freezes. Depending on the lighting, the water seems to be constantly different colors. Today - the lake will appear saturated dark green. On another day, it may be slightly green. At the time of my visit, the lake was greenish blue, but more blue spectrum.
There are no fish in the lake, and no other living creatures. Mud from the lake is considered healing, helps in the treatment of diseases of the joints.

This look charming -- with the help of the warm sunlight. Nice photos and awesome post, supported.
And hope I've still got some Hive !BEER for you in my digital fridge :P
Если бы еще немного там задержался, был бы пост про закат на озере. Но, надо было ехать, дорога дальняя - два с небольшим часа от озера до дома ехать.)
кмк, лучше так,-- в самый раз получилось!
😎
Thank you very much!
Damm that frozen lake is really pretty!! that winter landscape is looking really great
It's not completely frozen, just a little. They say that it does not freeze even in the most severe frosts, when the air temperature is below -30 Celsius.
Damm that is impresive!
The winter season had a positive effect on the Lake.
In the summer it is also beautiful in its own way :)
Sernovodskoye, Chechnya, spa town, right?
Your pictures are wonderful, I particularly like the ones with the cold cloud, or the cold smoke, whatever... over the lake landscape. The colours are wonderful. I was enraptured looking at them.
No, this sanatorium is located in the Samara region - 53.918347, 51.253136 . There is also a similar place in Chechnya, but it is much larger.
Thanks for the feedback :) I tried to make it beautiful :)
