Second overnight stay during a trip to the Urals and Bashkiria. The trip was four days, but the first night there was rain and snow, so we didn't get any photos of the camp. And on the third night I was already too exhausted from the road to film anything. I ate and went straight to bed. And on the second night we were lucky - even though we spent the night on the river bank, it was more or less warm, there was no wind at all. Silence, and only a little noise from the Porozhskaya hydroelectric station. By the way, there will be a post about her soon. Well, as a bonus - the northern lights. At first I didn’t even notice it, then purely by chance I decided to try to take pictures of the stars on my phone. And there I already saw that there was a light in the sky. I took out my camera and tried to take a few pictures.

What a beautiful colors!!! beautiful northern lights!!
This was the first time I saw the glow with my own eyes.) I can honestly say that it looks better in photographs than in real life. But in our area the chance of seeing this phenomenon is very small, almost zero.🙂
Beautiful !
I agree.!😁
I'm sure it was much more beautiful to your eyes while you were out there seeing it for real.
In fact, this radiance was almost invisible to the eye... But through the camera lens it turned out to be a very beautiful sight.
Oh wow ! That is interesting because as far south as I live from where northern lights can usually be seen, I have never known anyone who said they ever saw them around here, yet once in the last couple of weeks, someone noticed "something" and the word got around fast and folks went out and captured some northern lights here, however, like you said, they didn't really show to the naked eye so much, niy their phone cameras picked up many and multiple colors. It was wild and interesting to see some of the photos the local folks captured.
Now I wonder how many times they were actually visible here and no on ever noticed.
Now I have downloaded an application that sends notifications if there is a chance to see the glow. Since we never had them at all, until last year. And now I will always be ready.)
And now I’m wondering - a photo that can be found on the Internet by searching for the northern lights - was it visible to the eye, or is it all a technique?
I love how you describe that serene and peaceful atmosphere, away from the noise and rush of the city. To be able to enjoy nature, the tranquility of the environment and, on top of that, to witness the dazzling boreal lights, must have been a truly magical and unforgettable experience. Beautiful pictures!
Oh yes.) We had to travel almost 1000 km for this place, and the radiance was a very pleasant bonus.🙂
I've always felt that pictures taken at night are often very complicated when you don't have the necessary light, but these pictures are so perfect that it seemed like it was so simple. Great photographic work my friend!
Thank you for your feedback, I tried to make it nice. In fact, night photography is not very difficult, you just need to adapt.🙂
Fabulous photographs with spectacular chromaticism, dear, @chanych85
