These are some incredible captures. I think shooting the moon is quite difficult... but you made it look easy. Most shots don't capture that yellow-orange tone when taking photos of the full moon. They usually get it when it's the brilliant silver white. So, way to go on getting that full moon in all of it's cheese colored glory!
Yes. The atmosphere of our planet is a kind of prism for sunlight falling on the moon. The color of the moon depends on how high it is above the horizon. At the horizon, you can shoot a real blood moon. In May of this year, in our north latitudes (55"), the moon was yellow being approximately in the middle from the horizon to the zenith. 😊
