Good to see you back in the swing of things, @castleberry. I hope your healing is coming along great. Excellent choices in this set. I dove deeper into a few and these are the gems I found.
@macchiata shows some of the local designs and colours from a festival in her home town. The great variety of elements in the outfits and floats is really inventive and beautiful.
@gunnarheilmann takes architectural forms, shapes, colours, and textures then makes them his own canvass of light. Superb!
The eyes on the bug in this fantastic photo by @gidlark are unreal and nature's engineering marvel. Very nicely captured.
Only three don't do it justice. This is all great work on everyone's part!
All three of those were considered. Three top HotShots is never enough to do any justice considering the diversity and quality of the posts and their photographic content. You always have a good eye for appreciation and always pick some interesting picks when you share which ones you liked. Thanks for the engagement and taking the time to support other folks! It's much appreciated.
Thank you for mentioning over here 😄 there are so many beautiful costumes that I didn't get to capture since I was busy photographing my neighbors + got caught up talking about tiktok and what not haha
It's great to see this colourful celebration with imaginative costumes that have a local cultural flavour. We don't get to see these types of extravagant outfits very often, except perhaps during Brazilian Carnival celebrations (although their outfits are a bit more risqué).

Based off of the look on the lady's face... she looked like she wanted a 'license to shoot' since he looked like he was slowing her down. It was the romantic in me that went with that image. You framed it perfectly! Thanks for sharing with us here in the community! Cheers
