Maybe they all work remotely because there were no footprints from the cairn that I saw. Elves are way ahead of us humans, so they have definitely started working remotely a long time ago, while many of us are trying it out for the first time now in the Covid epidemic.
But either I'm an elf or well ahead of my time because I first started working remotely in 1996 and have mostly done it since ;)
