En mi post de hoy, os quiero mostrar algunas de las fotografías de mi viaje a Bélgica. Concretamente una serie de fotografías que saqué en horario nocturno para retratar las iluminaciones de los emblemáticos edificios y aportar una visión diferente a las tipicas fotos diurnas y llenas de gente.

Como seguro muchos abréis reconocido, es uno de los lugares mágicos de la ciudad de Brujas. Esta es la ciudad capital de Flandes Occidental, una de las provincias de la región Flamenca. Quizás la ciudad mas visitada y turística junto con Bruselas.
La fotografía está tomada desde uno de los puentes mas antiguos de la ciudad, el Meebrug. Desde ese puente tenemos una vista privilegiada de los torreones en linea de los edificios de la plaza del ayuntamiento. Gracias a que es de noche y la actividad de las barcas paran, el Groenerei tiene sus aguas calmadas y provoca un perfecto reflejo.
Sin duda es una de las ciudades medievales que me ha enamorado.
As I'm sure many of you have recognized, it is one of the magical places of the city of Bruges. This is the capital city of West Flanders, one of the provinces of the Flemish region. Perhaps the most visited and touristic city along with Brussels.
The picture is taken from one of the oldest bridges in the city, the Meebrug. . From this bridge we have a privileged view of the towers in line with the buildings of the town hall square. Thanks to the fact that it is night and the activity of the boats has stopped, the Groenerei has its calm waters and causes a perfect reflection.
It is undoubtedly one of the medieval cities that I have fallen in love with.
Esta otra toma, posiblemente es el rincón fotográfico por excelencia de la ciudad. El trozo de canal mas visitado y retratado. El famoso Rozenhoedkaai o también llamado Muelle del Rosario.
Ya sea verano o invierno, mañana o tarde, haga sol o llueva, el romanticismo del Rozenhoedkaai está siempre presente.
Quise con esta fotografia, intentar sacar unos trails de las estrellas pero con la absurda contaminación lumínica de las ciudades resulta imposible. Aún así, al realizar una exposición tan prolongada consigo eliminar a todos los turistas y hacer que el reflejo del agua sea perfecto.
This other shot is possibly the photographic corner par excellence of the city. The most visited and portrayed piece of canal. The famous Rozenhoedkaai or also called Rosary Quay.
Whether summer or winter, morning or afternoon, sunny or rainy, the romanticism of the Rozenhoedkaai is always present.
I wanted with this photograph, to try to take a few trails of the stars of the stars, but with the absurd light pollution of the cities it is impossible. Even so, with such a long exposure I managed to eliminate all the tourists and make the reflection of the water perfect.

Ahora cambiamos de ciudad y nos dirigimos a la ciudad capital de Flandes Oriental, otra provincia de la región Flamenca. Actualmente es la ciudad flamenca con mayor número de edificios históricos y una intensa vida cultural. Además es perfecta para el turismo joven, pues se realizan múltiples conciertos al aire libre y una vida nocturna emocionante.
Con esta toma, quise retratar las tres principales torres (Catedral de San Babón, Iglesia de San Nicolás y el Belfort o torre del campanario) acompañadas por los trais de los coches y motos que circulan por la principal carretera. Todo esto desde el puente de San Miguel.

With this shot, I wanted to portray the three main towers (St. Baron's Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church and the Belfort or bell tower) accompanied by the trais of the cars and motorcycles that circulate on the main road. All this from the bridge of San Miguel.
Volvemos a cambiar de ciudad y esta vez viajamos a Bruselas. Capital de Bélgica, de la Comunidad Francesa de Bélgica y de la Comunidad Flamenca. También se le considera popularmente como la capital de la unión Europea por estar en esa misma ciudad el Parlamenteo Europeo.
La toma está realizada en La Grand-Place. Es la plaza central de Bruselas. Mundialmente conocida por su riqueza ornamental. Está rodeada por las casas de los gremios, el ayuntamiento y la Casa del Rey. Considerada una de las más bellas plazas del mundo e inscrita en la lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO desde 1998.
Es una toma de larga exposición para intentar eliminar el máximo de turistas posibles, ya que es una plaza muy turística y muy aclamada por todos los visitantes.

It is a long exposure shot to try to remove as many tourists as possible, as it is a very touristy square and highly acclaimed by all visitors.

Pues vivir este mágico momento en una de las ciudades más románticas de Bélgica al lado de mi pareja, ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.
Retratando a lo lejos la plaza de Jan Van Eyck, lo que hace siglos fue el corazón del puerto de Brujas. La torre que se aprecia es de la "Logia de los Burgueses", el lugar en el que los burgueses de Brujas se reunían con los comerciantes extranjeros para hacer negocios.

Excellent photos as always :) well done Is amazing how you can get those results at night, i supose you are using long exposure right?
They are indeed all long exposures. In the longer shots I used an ND filter to increase the exposure even more ! Ty so much! 😊
