Although I like the photo of the boats in the golden hour... my desire to see snow leads me to this one and I think about how extreme it can be there, and slippery.
It looks hard and slippery, especially when combined with cold and wind. What you see here is a very mild winter. In the past, in my youth, winter was dreadful. It lasted more than three months, there were bitterly cold and heavy snows. Like many other things, it seems to be going away before long. I have lived to see such a dramatic climate change.
