Four Years!

Time flies! Unfortunately, time passes very quickly, much faster than I would like. I remember four years ago visiting a flower show to buy roses for my little yard. I visited on the last day, a few hours before closing. You may be wondering why I mention this.

Because it has to do with this story. After I bought some rose bushes, the seller gave me a box full of Hydrangea seedlings as a gift. Some very small plants, a small stem with a few leaves, some children of Hydrangea I could say.

I received the gift, of course, but I thought that the seller, who was not from the same locality as the place of the exhibition, wanted to get rid of those plants that he could not sell.

When I got home, I planted the little Hydrangea next to a card and forgot about them. Well, I didn't really forget, I took care to water them frequently because I knew that these plants need a lot of water.

The next year they didn't grow who knows what and they didn't make flowers, then the next year I was away from home, then came the year of the covid and I didn't think much about flowers.

Well, this year, in my fourth year, I received the reward from my Hydrangea. Beauty reward. Because "Four Years" has a special meaning for me and I will reveal below why. Until then I will try to show you the beauty of these flowers!

After they started to bloom, I saw that the person who gave me this gift did it with good intentions and wanted to make me happy. Because I saw that I have more kinds of Hydrangea and many different colors ...

Until I received these flowers, I only knew this variety, with shades of pink, blue and white.

The big and pleasant surprise was that from the small plants I received four years ago, I discovered a flower completely unknown to me and very beautiful.

The color is only pink but the inflorescence is special, with a row of large petals on the edge and a middle full of other very small flowers. A wonder!

Hydrangea commonly names hydrangea or hortensia is a genus of 70–75 species of flowering plants native to Asia and the Americas. By far the greatest species diversity is in eastern Asia, notably China, Korea, and Japan.

That's how I knew these flowers were called, but I saw that everyone called them Hydrangea. Now I found out that both names sound correct.

My satisfaction and joy are great because of these wonderful flowers and because of the past four years since I planted them.

These four years have significance and even an anniversary today.

Today, June 29, 2021, four years have passed since I found out what a blockchain means and I entered this blockchain which today is called Hive!

screenshot_ecency.com_2021.06.29_20_23_34.jpg

Well, I can't believe it's been four years. Four years of joys and sorrows, four years of effort and rewards, four years in which I met and interacted with many people. Four years in which I learned.

Well, I can't believe it's been four years. Four years of joys and sorrows, four years of effort and rewards, four years in which I met and interacted with many people. Four years in which I learned.

Thanks to @hivebuzz I even have some figures about my activity in this blockchain.

What did I find out from these data, that is, what did I calculate with their help.

First of all, that I wrote a post almost every day, for four years (0.75 posts /day), or in other words ... a post and a half every two days.

Then the comments: over ten comments a day, every day, in these four years.

screenshot_hivebuzz.me_2021.06.29_20_26_40.jpg

Much, little? Everyone can judge. I am surprised and satisfied because I am quite lazy and I did not imagine the effort made in Hive in such figures.

I have learned a lot in these four years. I learned to write a blog, I learned to take photos but most of all I learned to interact with colleagues. Because this is the most pleasant part of this social network, small, very small ... I don't know, but populated by good quality people you want to be friends with.

I want to thank everyone.

I initially thought of naming all those who meant something to me, friends, those from whom I learned, those who helped me not to give up, those who support me daily. Then I realized that it is impossible not to omit someone and it would be the worst thing I could have done.

So thank you all again. I hope to bring these thanks many more years from now!

Ohh the hortensia is how I knew them. These flores are so beautiful that they look almost unreal!😍 My favorites are also the blue ones 💙 Happy birthday on the Blockchain!🎉 I remember you were one of the first bloggers I followed when I created my account like 3 years ago, I didn't post a lot, but I read you and since then I have enjoyed your content a lot 😊

Thanks a lot! What you say makes me glad I was and still I'm here. I hope you continue and I see that your activity is very good. Congratulations.

And we will be here 💪 hehe thank you very much for also stopping by my blog and give me your support, it means a lot 🌻✨ let's keep creating 😊

Wow! It's been four years. Congratulations to you. It's a coincidence with the Hydrangea and your being here on Hive. Indeed from sorrow to Joy because the flowers and your joining here brought such Joy to you.
Those flowers are so beautiful and attractive.

Thank you! Time passes very quickly, you will notice this too.

First of congrats to you @bluemoon for completing four years on hive secondly the gift you got in the form of these incredible plants mesmerized me; to be honest I found rainbow flowers hydrangea majestic; do they have fragrance same as their beauty?

Thank you!
They don't have fragrance but that doesn't diminish their impact.

Oh! Such beautiful flowers with sweet colours!! How I want to grow some in my garden!
Four years seem about right for a growing up blockchain.lol

Thank you! I am surprised that this flower is not common in the place where you live.

Four years I think it takes people like me to start understanding what's going on here in the blockchain ...

Believe it or not, I posted a hydrangea tonight before I saw your post! LOL

How can I not believe you, Denise? I would have been surprised if you hadn't done that. I'm glad that this once again confirms the similarities between us.

Oh! Are you becoming an optimist? :))

I'm in a continuous balance between the two extremes ... I like it the most when I go to optimism.

Happy Birthday, Dan! @bluemoon I forgot how close our birthdays are! Mine was on the fourteenth, I think. Nevertheless, your hydrangeas are spectacular! The man knew you needed more beauty!

You have come such a long way and I take great pride in watching you grow and grow. I think we are both at a point of saying that we are here to stay!

Great story! I love your stories!

Thank you, Denise! To paraphrase you, I love your comments!

I think we are both at a point of saying that we are here to stay!

How much I like what you said, I want to hear that in a year, on the same anniversary.

You say that I evolved, I noticed that too, it's because I had good teachers. You are the first of them, thank you!

I doubt I taught you anything except to keep going and it will come to you. The purpose, the comfort of belonging and being pleased where you are.

I learn all the time, little things from your post. The little gif of your granddaughter is my favorite! :) Such a precious moment. The pictures that scroll through your images at different stages of your life. That one was brilliant. The way you signed your name. I sit and watch. Those little touches are what make your posts interesting to read and see what you have done.

Thanks for helping to keep the blockchain going!

I helped maintain the blockchain without realizing I was doing it. Thanks for telling me.

You are modest, I learned a lot more from you but I couldn't do some of them. Thank you for telling me what you liked about my posts, it's so nice to see that they are read (I know you read them but we have to be realistic, the posts here are read by few eyes, even if there are many votes).

One word must be said: Thank you!

You are always welcome!!

Great images and story @bluemoon my friend

Thank you!

You are always welcome my friend

Hydrangeas are my favourite flowers, and especially the blue ones ♥️ I wish you a wonderful 4th Hiversary Dan ! This year I didn't feel to celebrate mine, this fourth year has not the smell of the formers, I hope this will change though 😉

Happy Hiversary my friend !
