Age yourself / date yourself?

If you used it, you are probably at least in your late 20s, if you are a teen and you used it, you are probably into some weird old tech ๐Ÿ˜„

Records / Vinyl had their comeback. A few years ago they were cool again, now they are still highly appreciated by music geeks. Cassettes never had theirs.

That's why it was interesting to see and listen to a set performed with cassettes.

I know there are some people that do some cool and weird mixes with cassettes, but everyone that had an opportunity to use one knows that there is a decent amount of skill needed to even mix two songs one after another on these things :)

And if you go back with the technology it feels appropriate to play Ex-Yu Rock (it is black and white but people that know will recognize the flag)

And my feeling about those led reflectors did not change at all. I still hate them :)

A set performed with cassettes sounds great. And you are right, must be difficult to mix with them.
I remember using them... Also recording my playing with them. Hahaha, we can not complain with the new tech but it was also cool back in time ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ

and recording songs from the radio. or when someone got the two decks player and could record from one to another :D

Oh, yes, recording songs from the radio ๐Ÿ“ป
Double-decker, that was a hit and luxury, we just had to make sure not mix up and record silence on the "good" cassette ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ˜‚ and it happened to all of us. explaining what happened to the person that you borrowed the original was no fun ๐Ÿคฃ

lol, I know ๐Ÿ˜‚
but you see, we all survived...

somehow :D

The nostalgia hit me in the feels! hahaha

i was just thinking that i have a small box with cassettes in it, would be interesting to listen what is on them. not sure i have a working player :)

Hahaha... i have a shoebox somewhere full of cassette tapes. We have a local death metal show here in Dallas that has been playing from midnight to 4am since the 90s. I used to record it every weekend. That box has some old gems! hahaha

It was cool but i really don't miss them. My parents were not into technology so we had two of those basically lol. I get my tech when I started earning my own money. โ˜บ๏ธ

i can't remember the year i got my first player but i know it was copy rip off with a weird name that sounded Chinese ๐Ÿ˜„

listening to the music was quite different :D especially if you did not have a player that was able to stop rewinding automatically on the start of the song :D

Thanks.
