North Horr - Kenya

North Horr is located near Turkana lake, on the east side of it.

People are animist (for example they adore the sun, or the water, or natural spirits) and they are also Christians.
Christianity is very important here. Following image looks like Christ the sheperd leading his sheeps on the 'right' way.

Town is very small, and it is five years from last rain, so people here have some trouble to drink and to give water to animals.

We arrived in the evening, after a suddendly african sunset and a very long day due to some mechanical trouble: the jeep radiator has been cutted by cooling fan, during some steps to cross on the road, so we had to add water very soon to prevent engine damage.

Here the central place of this small town: an azure church.
The roof color was the same of the sky: dark and dense, like the night coming.

During the day, a blinding sun hit our heads and all things around:

The day after we went for a walk to wait sunrise.

Near the church there is a school, and many children and women walking around.
I liked the image on the main gate of the school: two children walking, so I've tried to join this image with some real people walking around, and these are the shots:
