How right you are, many people overlook things that are really beautiful, I always think that there is beauty in everything and you have to know how to see it. Some time ago I read mipiano saying that in Spain there are no autumns with so many leaves, that's true, but I've lived it in Argentina and it's wonderful. You have brought back beautiful memories. There is indeed beauty in everything, you just have to be willing to see, not just look. So many are walking blind and can only see their problems. 10 - 20 minutes of walk while admiring these colors can work wonders.
I've never lived in Spain, but I know the climate is way warmer and seasons are different. Winter is not cold either.
