As the few previous posts included some bird photos, I'm going to continue with the same theme. This post is all about the birds, so it's ALL bird photos. I don't even have much to write about, so I'm just writing "birb" a bunch of times.
Sparrows are natural at posing for photos. They're afraid, sure, but they're not too afraid and they're moving in the same big bushes all the time. So even if they're flying away from me, they'll just go to the other end of the bush. They're easy targets now as the bush is still "naked" and no leaves are growing yet.
Birb!
Birb birb birb birb!
The two in the middle are Eurasian tree sparrows (Passer montanus) and the ones on the far left and right seem to be House sparrows (Passer domesticus). They are often seen together and can be easily recognized from the black spots on the cheek.
Birb!
Birb goes whee!
Birb birb!
Birb.
Birb birb!
Birb sees the camera.
Birb does the best "female in an action movie poster"-pose, trying to show the face, chest and ass at the same time.
Birb.
Birb flies awayyyyyyyyyy.
Birb.
Birb flies away tooooooooo.
Tuff puff birb
So beautiful pics!!! I love so much to paint birds and these sparrows are really inspiring. ^_^
Thank you :)
I was happy that I got so nice photos, I've been waiting all winter for the birds to come back so it was worth the wait.
I love the colors <3 I will save it for inspiration for a color palette for one of my drawings <3
Thanks! I loved the colors too, I think they were 100% perfect.
Awesome dude👌👌
These are amazing captures
Thank you for your kind words :)
And yes they are :D
My mind got confused for a second, I thought sparrows was the correct name for birds that are actually called swallows.
Now that I think of it, the English are weird when it comes to naming birds... tits and swallows. 🤔
I'm gonna swallow the sparrow!
No but the names are pretty close to a non-native, but the birds are very different..
Going to do some swallow photography later this year :)
They are cute, I find all birds to be a fascinating subject for the eyes
Thank you :)
Birb
Also I have STILL MORE birds to come.
I had been photographing some chickens too.. so maybe chickens soon.
I'm using my liquid Hive to buy a new flash, so I'll have two. Just as soon as I'll choose the one I'll want :)

hello @apsu ,
the photos are very nice, one of the things that surprises me is how confident the sparrows look in front of the camera, they seem to know that they are taking a photo and pose for it, they are certainly very beautiful sparrows.
I'm promoting That curation trail on HIVE and it would help me a lot if you forward it, You can also check it yourself: you might find it interesting to join, I'd love to hear your comments.
