Farming is Great

Being a farmer for me is great fun. Doing activities in the fields every day is never boring. Since 2017 I have been spending time in the fields and I am truly grateful that the yields have peaked. Most people here work in the fields all the time. Some of their communities work in their own gardens, but there are also people who work in other people's gardens. Not everyone here has their own garden. The most enjoyable part of being a farmer is when it's harvest time and usually, the price of grain is also very influential on the quality of the rice. So we really have to care about these aquatic plants.

Here we all still use traditional farming techniques, only at harvest time using tractors to make the job easier and also to shorten the time. Currently, we are just ready to plant rice. The rice is now a month old and has reached 20 cm in height. time to move to a larger area. Previously sown on land that is not so wide. So, when the seed has branches and the leaves begin to grow, it should be moved immediately for the root growth process.

This morning, I came deliberately early to check the condition of the rice after planting. One thing that surprised me was when I saw the snails that usually bite rice leaves, which disturb the growth of rice plants. So I have to take care of it immediately when the rice plant has problems. In addition to pests that interfere with rice plants, it is also necessary to ensure that other insects damage rice stalks. When the rice stalks have problems, of course, they rice stalks wither and dry up.
