I live in Alexandria, Egypt. Alexandria is known for the beach, and it’s where everyone goes to get some fresh air.
These pictures were shot on 2nd of January when my friend and I decided to run by the beach for a change, we both smoke a lot and we decided to build a habit of running and doing more sports so we can offset some of the damage and work on quitting smoking as well.
It was a very remarkable day for me because I felt, even when the beach is less than 10 minutes away from where I live, I rarely ever go there take a walk and get some fresh air.
Alexandria is a very crowded city, everywhere you look you see a building, no room to even see the sky!
The only place where you get to have an open-ended view is the beach, no advertisements, no buildings, no traffic jams, just the waves and the sound of the beach.
I wish I’ll also build a habit of fishing like these people, it’s something else I enjoy doing but never do.
Life distracts us all the time, makes us forget to take a while every now and then to just do nothing, and enjoy the fresh air!
