Some portraits that I took of one of my friends on a trip to the beach that we took at the beginning of August.
Unos retratos que le tomé a una de mis amigas en in viaje a la playa que hicimos empezando el mes de agosto.
It was a farewell. One of our group would be leaving the country a week after that trip and wanted to go to the beach with us. When I know I'm going out like this, I take my camera with me and this was one of the pictures I took.
Fue una despedida. Una de nuestro grupo se iría del país una semana después de ese viaje y quiso ir a la playa con nosotras. Cuando sé que saldré así, me llevo mi cámara y estas fotos fue una de las que tomé.
I see these photos and I feel nostalgic, not for the person who is in them, but for what is behind them. It was the last outing we all had together.
Veo estas fotos y siento nostalgia, no por la persona que sale, pero si por lo que hay detrás. Fue la última salida que tuvimos todas juntas.
