Photography of beautiful Europe bird

in Photography Lovers2 years ago

Like a common pheasant, yet nonetheless breathtakingly gorgeous

This brightly coloured bird, about the size of a domestic hen, may be seen almost everywhere in Poland. At the same time, it is a game bird and a breeding bird. It isn't a unique species. Pheasants are Asian birds that were introduced to Poland and Europe in the 16th century and have become inextricably linked to our landscape.

The pheasant has a very significant sexual dimorphism, meaning the female and male are very different. The grey female is dominated by a magnificent and colourfully feathered male pheasant. The male has a gleaming green head, a distinctive white collar around his neck, and a brown-rusty colouring.
