What a sunny and warm Christmas we're having—almost like a yearly tradition. It's uncanny how, as the winter holidays approach, the weather miraculously warms up, only to plunge back into proper winter mode once Christmas and New Year's Eve bid their farewells.
Our small town is buzzing with activity this year as expats and city-dwellers return to their roots, visiting family. I must admit, I'm not a big fan of venturing out during this time of the year.
Luckily, I've got a couple of friends who resonate with my sentiments. Together, we decided to shake things up this afternoon instead of staying indoors sipping on the usual cup of coffee or tea. We ventured up the nearby hills, all the way to the windmills.
Now, we didn't conquer this journey on foot or by bicycle, although one of us was gung-ho about biking all the way up. Instead, we hopped into a car, something like an SUV but not quite a 4x4, and drove to the summit.
The road was unpaved, but it didn't quite qualify as a high-difficulty off-road trail either. We parked the car a few hundred meters away from the windmills and took a leisurely stroll in the area.
Encountering a few cows and a horse, we felt a bit like intruders. They didn't exactly roll out the welcome mat, but they didn't chase us off their turf either. Instead, they observed us for a bit, then resumed their munching routine.
The area isn't densely populated. There are scattered houses here and there, fairly close to each other, but beyond that, human activity is scarce.
I enjoyed the tranquility of nature, and to be honest, I plan to make more visits. There was also a guy on a bike, pedaling deeper into the forest, likely heading toward a nearby village. I returned home a bit tired, to be honest.
After a moderate meal (not as much as yesterday), I'm gearing up for a nap. Overall, it's been a delightful second day of Christmas, and hopefully, the evening will be just as pleasant.
How about you? How did you spend your Christmas this year?
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

This blog amazed my comfort era, and that's the clouds. It was a nice view I've seen; it was very great; the picture was lacking my attention; it was too nice; and remember that clouds have a thousand reasons for everything that happened.
😉
Nature gives us wonderful landscapes, beautiful photos, greetings.
Thanks. Have a great day!
