The Canadian shield! A staple of the Manitoban landscape. Drive a few hundred kilometres north of Winnipeg you will soon become enveloped in this rocky landscape. Sixty per cent of Manitoba is made up of the Canadian shield, making these rocky outcrops a regular sight for Manitobans.
Often referred to as "the flattest Province in Canada", Saskatchewan is quite the opposite. Driving through the south you are greeted by the rolling hills spotted with farms. This continues across the province until you reach the boreal forest in the north.
Ice isn't something that comes to mind when thinking of Ontario. But winter in the Great lakes can cause some breathtaking scenes. I was awestruck by the amount of ice that had built up on the shores of Lake Superior. It felt like I was in the arctic, not Ontario.
Banff National park! One of the most recognisable tourist locations in Canada. Known for towering peaks, blue glacial lake and forest fires! That right, forest fires. If you visit the Banff/Canmore area in the summer there is a good chance the Bow Valley will be shrouded in smoke. Done let this deter you though. The smoke creates a unique Mars-like effect and has its own charm.
This world is pretty amazing and you will never know what you're missing out on until you go out and explore.

My man! The lighting in these shots! Wow!
Thanks Mother earth ❤️
Love it, can't get tired of sun photography!
Nope! We need that light to make our photos 😀
Wow, really love that image of Sask. I actually want to visit the province quite a lot! It has some pretty unique landscapes, especially up north. Eventually I'd like to create a portfolio-worthy image in every province and territory.
Thanks! I grew up in Sask and it is quite under rated. Grasslands National park in the south is amazing especially the night skies. Prince Albert National park and the Churchill river are a must visit in the north.
