Personally, I've never been scared of losing friends. I find it easy (maybe easy is not the right word) to let go of things, relationships and people that no longer serve me. And honestly, it's important to protect your essence because some people don't mind draining it.

I can be there for people but I have people that I wouldn't allow them turn me into their emotional sponge. However, I also have people that I'll go all out for, regardless of the time, day, space and event. This is because I know that they'll do the same for me. I strongly believe in the act of reciprocation.
