RE: A little spark to (re)light the fire!

I love this, Rob! I'm in this place in my life too... looking to simplify and minimalise- and have started. It feels great to see unused baggage leaving our home. My boys were always messy but they are slowly becoming more appreciative of not having the clutter hanging around to clear up all the time! The aim is to end up with just what we need, and to create more usable space in the process, so that we can enjoy our home more as a family. We have a dreem of one day seeking out a bigger place in a more rural setting where we can enjoy the peace of the countryside more... and I want at least one mountain, valley, and river in the equation if I can help it! haha. Asking too much? Nope! I don't think so !LOLZ And we have kids too and want to ensure that they get through their schooling too before making any huge moves... if we can help it. So I hear you on that one. So great to see others doing this kinda thing too. I have @dreemsteem to thank for mentioning your blog to me 🤗 Hopefully catch your blog again soon...

@robsteady, I sent you an

I particularly liked the comment about enjoying your home as a family! That is a great way to describe what we want to do with a house once we can get one. The place we're in is rather small. It works for us, but I can definitely see a bigger place with a usable yard being a better place for us to be outside together doing things. Thanks for stopping by!

I hear you. Our place is relatively small too, especially with a growing family, but houses in the suburbs in England are not quite the same as those in the suburbs in South Africa, where I am from originally... so a bit of an adjustment over the years 😂 I hope that we both find our dreem homes with a little more space and tranquillity for quality family time and connection 🤗
