RE: Sans Capsule, It's Just a Wardrobe.

But I hate sameness

#metoo

Why would you want to go through life looking like everyone else?

When I first lived in Leicester, I was confused every time a girl went by. I kept thinking, didn't I just see this girl walk by? Then, after questioning myself for about the 5th time, I realised it was all the same high street fashion, same flat ballet shoes, oversized handbag, and sunglasses.

Then someone would see me wear something unusual and ask, "Oh where did you buy that?" I'd have a rich history behind the garment and their faces fell flat, knowing that they couldn't pop into a shop to purchase the same thing.

I'd rather keep a thing that's slightly faded or stained because I don't mind wearing it. I'd rather keep a suit thing like the one above on the off-chance I need to dress a little more stylishly.

I get that. recently, I went into a Charity Shop and purchased a unique 100% cotton dress that had a small stain and was reduced to £1.00. I came home and washed it and the stain was gone.
I have many pieces in my wardrobe that I feel the same about.

I'm happy to report the capsule wardrobe build was a success, without compromising on individuality, which was my main goal here. You can still cycle through the same limited pieces and look like you, not like a beige cutout.

Good on ya!

I thought I was the only one with this problem :))) Can't imagine how these girls are happy being carbon copies of someone they have no particular affiliation with (models, stars, whoever).

That's the best part. I love asking people that and they say they got it in some second-hand store or it's got this long unique story behind it. There's a certain beauty to not being able to have what they're having, if that makes sense.

nuts what people will throw away. To be 100% honest here, who's walking around checking to see if you have a small tear or stain in your clothes?
