Practicing minimalism is an ongoing process. When you practice a minimalist mindset, you’re choosing to live a more focused life. Taking the first step to declutter your life is a big move, but you might need a strategy to make these habits stick. Many of us may have too much stuff, and may even be spending too much on unnecessary purchases. Starting a healthy budget should help u cut down the things you don't need. But it is hard to practice. In the start people may find it interesting and useful but after sometime they are back with their normal mess.
Things which I have learnt towards minimalism is that the outer world is the perception of our mind
I have noticed that earlier as I take things or take people words, I used to become angry easily and it was making myself down but as I have started improving it, I found that from inside&out I feel happy, I feel complete.
If u want to develop a minimal habit from changing your attitude to decluttering your home, then there are some values which I personally follow and which help to live a more intentional life!
More gratitude and mindfulness
Everyone had heard that practicing gratitude may help us to attract opportunities in life. As I have started living with less, it allows me to find more gratitude in the things which I already have. And as a result of being more grateful the universe helps to get more things. In a physical space, minimalism allows me to appreciate a few things in a deeper way than a lot of cluttered stuff. With mindfulness it helps me to handle tough times with grace and surrender. I'm learning more and more, each and every day. Earlier I don't use to be grateful for the things whether it was food, money or people. But now as I show gratitude, my life has become more beautiful.
The more I crib, the slower things proceed
I have noticed that earlier as I was following the same old pattern, I used to crib a lot even for the smaller things and become irritated easily. The relationships in which I was living was full of toxic and i used to think why only such people come in my life, it was because I was following the same old pattern. We all use to complain over smaller things which makes us feel irritated. And unknowingly we attract negative things and then we use to think why bad things happens to us. It is because we focus on negative things easily rather than positive.
Minimal living means living with minimum things on your own terms
If u are distracted from anything in your physical world which is holding u back, then take a step towards removing those things and live with the things that you really need and which helps u to live with freedom and intentionality.
I'm also trying to become minimalist, and I am starting on becoming digital minimalist by deleting every app that I don't need.
