@laviesm! Thank you! Reading your blog meant a lot. You reminded me a lot of things. For the past week, I have been drained energetically. My mind kept whispering about the things I should have already accomplished by now and its mentally draining. You reminded me that its ok to take a step back and take it slow. Well, I have been slow living for the past year and I have never been more relaxed in my entire working life since then. Although I do have mini goals and sometimes I challenge myself to achieve them with a deadline. I'm going to take it slow once again and just enjoy the journey!
I agree on letting go of those fancy clothes we bring in our travels. Most of the time, we never get to wear all of them too. Just an added extra weight in our bags. I believe I'm a light traveler now compared to the version of me in the past! 😂
By the way, your daughter is so cute! Being a mom challenges you even further to be minimalistic and practical now that the child comes first. I've witnessed it firsthand with how my brother and sister-in-law are taking their baby too.
Beautiful write-up! And congratulations on being a copy-writer! To many more small wins for you! 😍
Hi @indayclara, glad that this post was able to remind you about slow living and I hope you’re feeling better now 🤗To be honest, slow living can be difficult to follow especially nowadays, since our daily lives demand so much from us. So a quick reminder to give ourselves some leeway can be helpful 😊
Yes, it can really be challenging. It’s tempting to give her the best this world has to offer. But, limitations in our budget keep us grounded 😂 And to be honest, all the expenses of raising a little one pushes me to buy less things we don’t need (made me become a cheapskate 🤭).. kinda helps with the minimalism goals I guess? 😅
Thank you for the warm congratulations and have a great Sunday! 😊
