Saying goodbye to stress

The excesses of work, family problems, any situation that is uncontrollable for us always generate stress, and stress is the cause of many diseases, some time ago I had economic and family problems I fell into a terrible stress, in fact in my head I started to get a kind of ringworm and I had holes in the little hair I had left and all that was stress.

Another time the problems came again and stress made me lose weight uncontrollably, I thought I had a terrible disease that I was going to die; however it was just stress, of course first I solved some family problems I had and then I decided to do an activity to release my stress.

If you have seen some of my posts you will know that one of those activities is *cycling, this activity has really helped me a lot, I can get home in the afternoons and if I feel that I might have some difficulty I go on my bike and relax for two hours and come back.

Weekends, especially Sunday mornings, are for me a time of deep relaxation, I go with my cycling buddies not so much for exercising but it is my time to get away from all the daily disturbances of life, it is my escape from the daily stress.

I learned to keep the balance between daily problems and do things that generate peace and happiness to my life, I believe that when we find the passion for something we like we can always do it and this helps us to generate new courage and see life from another perspective.

Another thing that I like to do and that generates happiness and de-stresses me is Television, if watching a good movie takes me away from the problems, I get into the story and I can be more relaxed and calm at the end, I have no stress, I have always liked good movies and I can spend hours watching television.

The third thing I can do to relax is to walk, I walk up to 4km round trip, while I do it I see the landscape and I enjoy it very much, my thoughts are calming and I am filled with peace, although now I ride my bike more but walking has always been part of me, nature is beautiful and to enjoy it walking in the evenings or mornings is something that oxygenates my brain and gives peace to my soul.

I have been making these changes and it has brought me peace of mind, it has taken me away from stress, changes are good and beneficial when we do it according to our interests, it is not change for the sake of change but to do something that we like that we know will bring us peace and not accelerate stress, I am one of the people who think that if it does not give peace it is not convenient, These changes in my life have been very beneficial, now I sleep more and better, I eat a little more, I share with colleagues, my family is happy because I no longer walk with a bitter face, so I invite those people who need a change, find a passion and can start there and start doing it to get rid of stress and relax.
