I am happy to be able to come back to this beautiful community and share with you a new publication, today I want to talk about creativity something that I consider very important in our life to enjoy it much more, but specifically I want to share with you my opinion about how it influences our creativity the fact that we lead a minimalist lifestyle.
Minimalism is a concept that is applied in many aspects of life, from fashion and home decoration to diet and technology. But today, people are also embracing minimalism as a way to stimulate their creativity. Creativity is an ability we all have, but one that is often hindered by too many distractions and information overload. Minimalism, by reducing the amount of distractions around us, allows us to focus on our passions and creative projects.
Reducing distractions: In a society where we are constantly connected to technology and surrounded by visual and auditory stimuli, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and distracted. Minimalism encourages us to simplify our lives, eliminate the unnecessary and focus on what really matters.
This means that by reducing the distractions around us, we can focus on our passions and creative projects. For example, if our workspace is cluttered and cluttered, we are likely to have a hard time focusing on our projects. By getting rid of things we don't need and keeping only the essentials, we can create a calmer and more focused work environment.

Eliminating excess: Another way minimalism stimulates creativity is through the elimination of excess. When we have too many choices or too many objects, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and lose mental clarity. By simplifying our lives and eliminating what we don't need, we can free up mental space and energy to focus on our passions and creative projects.
In addition, when we have fewer things, we also tend to care for them more and appreciate them more. This means we can be more emotionally connected to the objects and tools we use for our creative projects, which can further stimulate our creativity.
Focus on the essentials: Minimalism also encourages us to focus on the essentials. Instead of trying to do too many things at the same time, it invites us to carefully choose what is most important and focus on that. By doing this, we can create a more efficient and effective workspace that allows us to accomplish more in less time.
In addition, minimalism teaches us to appreciate and value the simple things in life. Instead of seeking happiness in material things, it encourages us to find joy in meaningful experiences and relationships. This can be especially important for creatives, as they are often more inspired by experiences and emotions than by material things.
Creating space for creativity: Another benefit of minimalism is that it helps us create space for creativity. When we eliminate clutter and the unnecessary, we can create a workspace and environment in which we feel more inspired and motivated.

This may mean de-cluttering our desk, creating a dedicated space for our creative practice, or even reducing the amount of extracurricular activities in our lives. By creating a space for creativity, we are giving ourselves the opportunity to immerse ourselves in our passions and creative projects without distractions or interruptions.
Encouraging innovation: Minimalism can also foster innovation. When we are faced with limitations, whether in terms of space, time or resources, we often find creative and innovative solutions to overcome those limitations.
Minimalism forces us to work with less, which can inspire us to find new ways of doing things and to think more creatively. By focusing on the essentials and reducing excess, we can also find simpler and more effective solutions for our creative projects.
Improved productivity: Last but not least, minimalism can also improve our productivity. By reducing distractions, eliminating excess and focusing on the essentials, we can create a more efficient and effective work environment that allows us to be more productive and get more done in less time.
In addition, when we eliminate the unnecessary from our lives, we can also reduce stress and anxiety, which can improve our mental and physical health. And when we are healthier and less stressed, we are better able to devote time and energy to our creative projects.
Minimalism can be a powerful tool for stimulating our creativity. We can start with small changes, such as clearing your desk or reducing the amount of time you spend on social media. Over time, you can adjust and refine your approach to suit your creative needs and goals. Let's remember that creativity is a skill we all have, no matter our age, and that minimalism can be a powerful tool to help us unlock and stimulate that ability. So don't be afraid to simplify your life and focus on what really matters, your passions and creative projects.
A workspace that's cluttered definitely is a distraction space. I totally can relate to that in the sense that whenever my reading desk is filled with books scattered everywhere, I tend to get really distracted and until everything is in place, there'll be no focus. You've actually made a very good point here.
