The first jam of the year! I have had a few weeks off of playing so am feeling a little rusty, but, a new guitar always helps to brush off the cobwebs and get fired up to play again! I think this might have caught your eye... has anyone seen this guitar before? What did you think it was?
Here I have my Stapleton Aurora, made in New Zealand. Actually, made just down the road from where I am living now! This caught my eye, and had me thinking about it for a few days/weeks and it just didn't leave my mind. Initially, I was intrigued and then the style really made an impact on me. Reading more about Stapleton, I found that the pickups are hand wired, and I noticed several unique features that I was really drawn to! It wasn't until I pickup up the guitar in my hands and knew she felt right at home. The quality here is honestly very high end. Amazing components and wood (even the pickguard is wooden) and if you thought that Les Paul's are heavy, think again. This weighs a ton! Luckily, I like heavy guitars :)
In a few days I will be making a full review of this guitar using my trusted AXE scale :) Backing track goods once again! Jam here
Peace and Love!
Nice axe. It looks like a mix of Fender and Gibson, so which does it feel more like? I've not heard of that maker before, but then NZ is not too well known for making guitars.
Sweet playing too.

Thank you! It feels more like a Fender due to the slightly longer and rounder neck which I really like :) I hadn't heard of this brand either, until I saw one up for sale and just wanted to take a shot in the dark! Luckily, it feels great! Super heavy though!
