Get More 💪🏻 Behind Guitar Bends

It may not always be possible depending on what you’re playing, but as much as you can, you should always try doing guitar bends with your ring (or 3rd) finger.

Why? Because when you use your ring finger, you can “back it up” or “support” it with your middle (2nd) and pointer/index (1st) fingers. That way when you bend, you are combining the strength of all 3 fingers, instead of just one.

Again, this won’t always be practical depending on what you’re playing, but when it DOES work out, definitely give 3 fingers a try!

Not only will your bends sound better because you’ll have more control, but your hands will last longer because you’re dividing the work load up! Your fingers will definitely thank you for it!
