Ahh Can't Slow Down, even Mr Mainstream himself didn't like Lionel Richie, especially Hello and its infamous video where he plays the part of a teacher who stalks his beautiful, blind student around the school!

Agreed, nauseating.., even then and I am not a Lionel fan, it's just this one song and that's all down to Steve's solo. The video is pure cheese, and embarrassing.

The BritPop stuff you might like, especially 'LoveLife'.., Ladykillers is OK but I prefer their Shoegaze stuff.
