Man!!! I love your voice! You’ve got a really hypnotic style, I swear something in it wrenches my soul! (I guess that could sound like a bad thing but I mean it with the utmost respect!) I can do a little finger picking style from time to time, but you’ve really got some excellent skills there as well - I’m watching close and learning by absorption (I hope) :)
No need to Clockwork Orange yourself 🤣🤣🤣 The closed eyes add to the depth of your performance - plus it’s proof that you must practice because you can play a full song by heart…another aspiration of mine 😂

Soul wrenching is good 😂 A lot of songs I like using fingerpicking style so I gravitated towards learning that more than strumming, when I'm learning a new pattern I sometimes just sit on the couch and train my picking hand. Funny what you say about learning lyrics by heart, there are some songs I've heard a million times but without the track playing I just can't seem to remember it's actually kind of surprising how tricky it is 🤔
HAHAHA! yeah man, for sure! Another funny one that happens to me as a chronic site-reader, is when the printed lyrics don’t match what I have been saying when I sing along with the radio over the years - totally throws me for a loop 😄
Once it gets stuck in your head wrong there's no turning back, just call it artistic licence at that point 😎
