Introducing my new Band - BANANA PANCAKES 🎵

Hello everybody! 😊

How are you doing?

I´m good. Trying to get a little bit of system into all the projects I am working on at the moment, without trying to stress me, haha!

Well, for a few months now, I have a new band! 🎉 I didn´t play the drums for around 6 years and that was way too long. I missed it, and now that I´ve started again, I feel it has such a therapeutic effect. It helps me alot with my mental problems, and also with getting my body into a bit better shape.

I wanted to make a little intro post to show you guys my new band BANANA PANCAKES. 🍌🥞

The guys where already playing together for a few months and were looking for a drummer, so I joined the band in April this year.

We play rock coversongs from the 70s till today. I love playing with the guys, because they are so nice and have as much fun as me. The songs we play were very good to start playing the drums after so many years again.

We recently had our first offical gig, and I was very nervous. For us it was a first "test" to how the audience reacted. And it was an awesome night! Everything worked out great, we only got positive feedback, people had so much fun. It was one of those events where everything seemed to be at the right place on the right time.

And guess what? They wrote an article about us a week later in a local newspaper! 😱😍

That is a very good feedback and a great start for our band! So this was great news!

I hope it will help us to get more gig opportunities. Now the winter season starts, and it´s not that easy to find gigs inside. But let´s hope for the best. 😊

We are all very motivated and excited now to keep practising to enlarge our setlist. For better promotion, we decided to build a website, and a little promo video. Since I am the only one in the band who can do graphics design, I need to do it. 😆 It´s not my favourite to build a website, but I am sure it will help us.

I also created our Logo, and people love it. For the gig, we printed the Logo on T-Shirts for all of us, and this already got us very good feedback and people wanted to order a shirt. 😄

Last week, I created a little promo video, which I want to show you now. Right now, we only have cellphone recordings that don´t have a good quality. We will replace them as soon as we have better material. But for now, it´s good enough to ask for a gig somewhere, so people can have an impression of what we play.

We are far away from playing perfect, but for this short time of practise, I am very happy with our level already. Well guys, I hope you like the video!
