Well would you look at that, another potentially new tune on the horizon! It's been a little busy at Havey HQ but it's been awesome to get back in to the music studio and vent some creativity in to the music software.
Another very rough work in progress here and a lot of work to do to make it all shiny. However, if anyone was interested in hearing tunes progress then I'll share a few more posts about it.
Anyway, today's share is called Hourglass and it's an introspective look at how one spends their time before the sand runs out in the hourglass.
The arpeggio bassline had a pretty nice rhythm to it and felt like it blended quite nicely with the serene sounds of the strings and bells.
Perhaps it gets a little too harsh half way through, I might tone that down a bit but it's meant to represent the urgency to be productive and live your best life (as best we can in the circumstances) in the short time we're here.
Hope you like where this one is going! I'll see if I can get a few more tunes dug out over the Xmas period and share them with you here as they unfold!
