The first and third tunes sound like good songs for a barbecue. The middle one is heartbreaking. The kids in the pictures all looked like kids I would have hung out with at one point or another. I remember homeless kids wandering through our dorms in the early 90s. One in particular had a dream to make it in LA. He made it and then messed up big time, but he had enough sense to get out of there and get back to Chicago. Most of those kids don't return home. The x generation is (was) a puzzler.

Don't misunderstand me as skipping over Eddie's song. It's real. I just picture myself listening to this on the patio with family members having a beer and watching the sun go down somewhere outside of Phoenix. "Pearl Jam" and "Fire and Water" each get my due respect.
